A new, ‘sustainable’ installation for the Radisson Blue in Berlin

Der Spiegel, 11.10.2023: In the early morning of 16 December 2022, the huge Aquadome aquarium had burst and over 1300 fish had died. Now, it seems, the operators have come to their senses and realised that in this day and age of climate change and dying coral reefs, an aquarium is not the right solution: There will be no more aquarium at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Berlin-Mitte. ‘Not even a small one.’ The lobby of the hotel is currently being renovated. A new, ‘sustainable’ installation is to be created. Guaranteed without water.
